Pre-orders for the “ZETA IV D1 Limited Edition”, a special collaboration between the world-renowned Japanese drift competition D1 GRAND PRIX and premier racing seat manufacturer BRIDE, will begin on Friday, August 8th.
The base model is the ZETA IV, the latest in BRIDE’s classic ZETA full bucket seat series, which has been a favorite of professional drivers since its debut in 1990. This special collaboration with the D1 Grand Prix has been meticulously crafted into a unique seat.
The main highlight is the double-name logo of “D1 GRAND PRIX” and “BRIDE” embroidered on the headrest. The vivid orange embroidery, which is D1’s brand color, and the off-white accents on the shoulder supports create a distinctly sporty look.
In addition, the ZETA IV features a shell designed specifically for the Japanese physique and bone structure, providing excellent holding performance for everything from street driving to the racetrack. It combines a lightweight and durable FRP silver shell (GFRP) with flame-retardant fabric and PVC materials.
What’s more, the seat boasts impressive specifications. It weighs approximately 7.4 kg, is a vehicle inspection-compliant model, and meets FIA standards. Furthermore, a seat sensor comes standard, making it safe for use in both street driving and motorsports.
